“Someone once said recently that in order to grow in whatever way we need to grow, we must take the pain of criticism. Like building muscle, we must first be torn down so we can grow back stronger. I liked that analogy. It’s just tough because sometimes the tearing down can wear away our confidence and take away our ability to write at all.”

I like this analogy too… I always think I’m so open to criticism, and then I find myself worrying because “I’m not good enough”. It’s so difficult to strike that balance.

Also, WordPress seems to have decided it’s going to keep eating your comments (and the comments of a select few other people). Can’t figure out why!!!
