A significant chunk of them have been through various RWA chapters, as well… I’m not a member of RWA, but you don’t have to be to take most of the classes. Head over to the RWA website and take a stroll through the websites of the various chapters relevant to your writing, you’ll find plenty of courses at excellent prices, with fantastic instructors!

As for the Holly Lisle courses I’m taking… I really don’t remember how I learned about her, but the two classes I’ve done with her have been invaluable. Life-changing, really. I can’t speak highly enough of her work and instruction.
