Who the Heck…?
I am a writer/novelist, currently working freelance to pay the bills (or not, as those of you who also freelance may know). I’m a voracious reader & insatiable bibliophile, constantly adding to my collection under the guise that “it’s for research”. I review books here on my blog, as I’m a member of several book review programs, but would also be happy to read and review your book too!
I’ve had two short stories published by Emerald Tales: “The Sacrifice” & “Firebird’s Embrace”; my flash piece “Possible Zombie Apocalypse” will be published in Pill Hill Press’ Daily Flash 2012: 366 Days of Flash Fiction in November 2011. On the other side of things, I’m a former editor with Flash Me Magazine (currently on hiatus) and a current assistant flash editor for Abyss & Apex. I’m also an editor and content writer for Lifeline Design.
Beyond that, I’m also a wife, a caretaker of a ridiculously insane cat, hamster, and a small parrot with a big attitude. If that’s not enough to deal with, I’m also a professional bellydance / Bollywood instructor & performer.
In Winter Term 2011, I taught English Composition at Heritage College in Cambridge (Ontario)… and it was, to say the least, an interesting experience.
I’m also an annual ML for National Novel Writing Month… what can I say, I got sucked in by the NaNo vortex and may never escape… *cue Muppet-like flailing*
On top of that, I’m a perpetual student… what can I say, I get to buy more books.
